This highly decorative Ketubah follows a traditional format. The central text is surrounded by a colorful and rich illumination, resting upon a delicate parchment color wash. The painting depicts the Seven Species of Eretz Israel: dates, wheat, barley, figs, pomegranates, olives, and grapes. Wildflowers common to Israel are interspersed throughout. A circular motif of the Western Wall and the buildings of the Temple Mount is at top center. This scene is based upon a 19th century seal of Jewish congregations in the Holy Land. The Ketubah is framed in a gold border, and crowned by a verse from the Song of Songs 6:3:
